This research focuses on the critical edition and study of the manuscript "Sharḥu Masāliki'l-Khulāṣ fī Mahāliki'l-Khawāṣ" by Muḥammad Zeyrekzāde. The significance of the study lies in bringing to light a valuable work from the heritage of Arabic rhetoric through rigorous scholarly methods and presenting it with a reliable critical edition. The study is structured into an introduction and two main chapters. In the introduction, the subject, importance, and purpose of the thesis are outlined, along with a survey of previous studies on the topic. The first chapter examines the life and works of Zeyrekzāde, as well as the edited text itself, analyzing it from multiple perspectives such as form, content, and sources. As a noteworthy commentary in the field of Arabic rhetoric, the work is shown to interpret Tashkoprizāde's treatise on metaphor with a linguistic, analytical, and critical approach, thereby unveiling the subtle nuances of meaning within the text. The second chapter is devoted to the critical edition of "Sharḥu Masāliki'l-Khulāṣ fī Mahāliki'l-Khawāṣ", prepared in accordance with the ISAM Principles of Critical Edition (İTNES). Three manuscript copies, identified as available, were utilized in the process. Through this edition, an important contribution to the field has been brought forth, making the text accessible to the scholarly world for further study and benefit.
