Muhammed Emin Er's life, works and sufistic perspective

Muhammed Emin Er is a great wise and a mentor who witnessed the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and the establishment of the Republic of Turkey. He spent his nine years of ninety-nine-year life in the Ottoman Empire and the remaining ninety years in the Republic of Turkey. Muhammed Emin Er was born in H. 1332/G. 1914 in Kalaç/Kiloyan village of Çermik district of Diyarbakır. Muhammed Emir Er took his first education from Mullah Ali, whom his father brought him. Later, he went to Syria to improve his education, he joined the Şeyh Ahmed Haznevî's sect and he took his first secteducation. He got his ratification from Şeyh Muhammed Maşûk en-Norşînî from Madrasah Norşîn. Meanwhile, he joined Şeyh Seydâ el-Cezerî 's sect and he completed his travelling through sufism than he gained the ratification of sufism and he became the Caliph of Şeyh Seydâ el-Cezerî. Muhammed Emin Er worked as a sect leader in Gaziantep for many years; then he went to Ankara with the invitation of Mahmud Es'ad Coşan, and he gave lectures at the Fiqh Institute there. He went too many countries in the world, especially in Europe, America, Pakistan, Egypt, Syria, Iran, and Afghanistan. He gave many seminars, conferences, talks in mosques, and chatted with university students. Muhammed Emin Er has works in many fields, especially on Sufismand fiqh. Muhammed Emin Er wrote his works in Arabic. Some of these Arabic works were translated into Turkish. Muhammed Emin Er has revealed the idea of Sufism in his works, which were written on various sciences. Muhammed Emin Er explained Sufism's cornerstones in his works which are sharia, sect, truth, recognition in god, being a member of follower of sunnah, travelling through sufism, pledge, invocation, goodness, rapture, devotion to god, attachmentt, morals etc. Muhammed Emin Er is a sufi from the Hâlidiyye branch of the Nakşibendiyye sect, who is considered equal to Hâlid el-Bağdâdî (b. 1242/1827). Hence, He has covered the subjects travelling through sufism, positions, monotheism and morality in detailed in his Sufism works.
