The relationship styles between the consultants of the students studying graduate education in the field of accounting and finance

Students who aim to pursue an academic career do so first through a master's programme and then through a doctoral programme. In this process, one of the biggest factors that ensure the desired level of productivity is the relationship between the advisor and the student. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship style between graduate students and their supervisors in the field of accounting and finance. As a result of the study, it was revealed that both advisors and students adopt the pastoral relationship style, which includes emotional and spiritual support as well as academic support.
