Perception levels of accounting professionals about the services received from e-document private integrator organizations: Adıyaman province example

The revolution in information and communication technology has resulted in continuous growth and development in the daily spheres of economy, society and culture. The existence of the Internet has contributed to globalization by increasing both the amount of information available in the environment and the speed of information movement. Due to rapid globalization, economic, social and technological changes, governments around the world are shifting from the traditional government approach to the e-government approach and investing in both their infrastructure and software to provide citizen-oriented, efficient, transparent and effective services. They have worked hard in the last 20 years to realize digital development along with globalization and technological development, from a single point, at any time and without interruption. Digital developments have affected the accounting field as in every sector and brought new technologies. As a result of the development, applications such as electronic applications, income management and book notification system began to be used. The digital transformation of accounting has caused changes in the accountant's profession and business processes. In our study, the effectiveness of the interaction program between Turkish electronic accounting applications, accounting information system and tax audit was investigated. In this context, the study consists of three parts. In the first part, it is aimed to convey the concept of Accounting and Accounting information system, digital transformation and digitalization of accounting, in the second part, information systems, e-document applications and e-document private integrator organizations, and in the third part, the perception levels of the services received from e-document private integrator organizations.
