Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, it is aimed to develop engineering software and innovative methodologies that can work interactively with each other to determine the status of engineering structures and to monitor the health of the structures. For this purpose, Dynamic Modal software has been developed to determine the dynamic characteristics of engineering structures. Dynamic Update software that can automatically update the finite element model (FEM) to minimize the differences between the FEM and the experimental model. Also, Web Based Structural Health Monitoring Platform has been developed for long-term Structural Health Monitoring. Real-time frequency tracking methodology and deep learning-based anomaly detection methodology were developed in the Web Based Structural Health Monitoring Platform. In addition, it is aimed to determine the confidence interval of the uncertainties obtained from the structure caused by environmental factors by using Bayesian Neural Networks. This study consists of four main parts. The first part includes the literature research on the subject, the theoretical formulations in structural health monitoring and FEM updating. In the second part, information about the developed software and methodologies is given. In addition, experimental studies were carried out to verify the efficiency of the software and methodologies. In experimental studies, a laboratory study in Dynamic Modal software and field studies in four different engineering structures were carried out. For the Dynamic Update software, a study was carried out on the dam model produced in the laboratory environment. On the Web-Based Structural Health Monitoring Platform, verification studies were carried out on the Z24 Bridge and field studies were carried out on six different engineering structures. The results obtained from the studies were examined by comparing them with the literature and commercial software. In the last part of the study, the results obtained are evaluated in detail and suggestions for future studies are presented.
