Narrative structure in Mukadder Gemici's stories

Mukadder Gemici, whose first story book was published in 2011, is a productive writer who has made many contributions to Turkish storytelling by publishing five books, four of which are stories and one of which is analysis. The author's four story books constitute the essence of this work. The elements that make up the narrative structures of the stories, the combination of these elements, and the methods and techniques used are very rich and unique. The author has a unique style that pushes the thematic and structural boundaries while creating backbone on which his stories are based. The people and events in the stories are a panorama of today's Turkey. The author focuses primarily on the human story. While telling the story of a person, he goes out to the streets and captures traces of the social structure and the spirit of the time. All human emotions, thoughts, dreams from distant times, and tragic situations in which technology has taken away a part of itself feed the stories. Considering the texts produced without humans in recent narratives and the works sold out without going out on the streets, the author's unique feeling and understanding and his handling of humans are remarkable. Except for a few long stories of the author that may occasionally evolve into novels, the rest of the author's stories consist of short stories. In our study, the author's 46 stories, the storytellers and their perspectives, whose stories are told, the environment and places where the stories are created, the treatment of the time element, narrative techniques, the author's way of handling these narrative techniques, and the language and style features as a form of presenting the stories to the reader, and by blending all of these.
