Abstract (EN)

Mukatil b. Suleyman was one of the first period commentators and lived in the second century. Mukatil b. Suleyman's work called et-Tefsiru'l-kebir, which has an important place in the field of commentary, is the first work of the Qur'an's commentary from beginning to end. In addition to the work, it has received many criticisms. Various studies have been carried out on this work and it is the main source of our research. Our study is about Mukatil b. Suleyman's interpretation of the verses related to death and life after death in his work named as et-Tefsiru'l-kebir. This study consists of introduction and three chapters. In the introduction; in the addition to giving general information about Mukatil b. Süleyman's life and the hereefter, the subject, purpose and method of our study were explained. In the first chapter; the interpretation of the verses of faith in the hereafter, death, graves, signs of doom, moment of doom were examined. In the second chapter; Mukatil b. Suleyman's discussions on resurrection, hand over of the book of deeds, account, trial and events after the resurrection were discussed. In the third chapter; features of hell, life in hell, features of heaven and life in heaven subjects were examined. Keywords: Mukatil b.
