Abstract (EN)

This study focuses on the personality of Darqawi and Darqawa way which forms one of the branches of the Shadhiliyya. In our study, we tried to focus on Darqawi's place in the history of Sufism, his Sufi views and understanding of the sect by focusing on his letters. In this direction, we tried to investigate the prominent disciples of Darqawi, which later formed some sub-branches of Darqawiyya and to evaluate their activities in the regions where Darqawiyya sect became widespread, especially in Morocco. In the first part of the three-part study, the biography of Darqawi was examined. In this episode, we tried to form a frame about the situation of Morocco in his period of his life, his sheikh, important disciples and his works. In the second part, we have discussed the principles which Darqawa considers as the basis of the disciple's cultivation procedure. However, we also tried to give a portrait of him as a Sufi by evaluating his views on the Sufi authorities which are he source of Sufi thought. In the third chapter, we discussed the deduction of the Darqawiyya sect and its branches.
