Abstract (EN)
Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between resilience levels of individuals with MS and family member. Materials and Methods: This descriptive study was conducted between Feburary 2016 and May 2018 in Neurology Outpatient Clinic of Neurology Department of Dokuz Eylül Üniversity. The sample of the study consisted of 103 individuals with MS and 114 family members fallowed by the neurology outpatient clinic. The resilience scale and different personal information were administered to both groups Results: When the responses of the individuals with MS and family members to the resiliance scale were evaluated by correlation analysis, no corelation was found between resiliance levels of two groups. In the research, while minimum score of the individuals with MS was 126.30. ıt was observed that there were individuals with a minimum score of 69 and a maximum score of 165. Similarly, the average score of the family members participating in the study was found to be 129.89. It was observed that there were individuals with a minimum score of 61 and a maximum score of 165. Conclusion: There was no correlation between resiliance level of family members, one of the factors thought to affect resilience level individuals with MS.
