Abstract (EN)
The offense set forth in the article 226 of the Turkish Criminal Code numbered 5237 constitutes the fundamental of the study headlined "The Offense of Obscenity". Within this scope, the offense of obscenity has been discussed within the context of the jurisprudence, dependant on the crime investigation method. Furthermore, the doctrine and the controversial matters related to the offense are endeavoured to set light to herein.
