Abstract (EN)
The increasing world population and polluted ecosystem have been causing natural resources to become more and scarcer for decades. Nowadays, world countries have been trying to address environmental pollution and nutrition problem fundamentally. Our purpose of carrying out this study is to be part of the solution. The object of the study was to focus on the effect of banana trees residue on some soil productivity parameters in two soils different in texture. The banana plant residues were crashed homogeneously and applied to soil with five different doses (0ton/ da, 4.5ton/ da, 9ton/ da, 18ton/ da, 27 ton/da). The experience was laid out in a randomized parcel design with four replications as pots in greenhouse conditions. After four months incubation period, soil chemical and physical analyses were carried out. According to the results, banana plant residue application had different effects on some soil chemical and physical properties. Whereas the application increased Electrical Conductivity (EC), Organic Matter (OM), and Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC), it decreased the soil pH. Meanwhile, Field Capacity (FC) and Wilting Point (WP) were increased, Bulk Density (BD) decreased. The different aggregate formation was found diversified size in two different soil textural classes.
