The main concern isvisitor characteristics and their influence on circulation patterns. In this context, a case studywas conducted in one of the two sections of Sadberk Hanım Museum, Istanbul, in order toexplore whether differences in visitors? characteristics in terms of gender and locality have aneffect on their circulation behavior. Evaluating these characteristics, the study found asignificant relation between circulation behavior and demographics and underlies theimportance of providing an effective and efficient museum experience for the diversifiedmuseum audience.Keywords: Museum environment, museum experience, visitor behavior, circulation patterns,visitor characteristics.
