Investigation of religious music elements in music curriculum

In this study, it is aimed to examine the religious music elements in the curricula of music courses taught at all levels of education under the Ministry of National Education. Within the scope of the research, music education, types of music education, elements, forms and types of religious music and institutions providing music education in Turkey were emphasised. In the study, which was prepared according to the descriptive analysis method, one of the quantitative research methods, as a result of the analyses made with the document analysis method, it was seen that especially religious music forms were included in both primary and secondary education, special education and non-formal education, while a small number of religious music elements were found. As a result of the results obtained in the study, suggestions were given
