Examination of music teachers' views on the use of technology

Technological tools, which have become an indispensable part of daily life, play an important role in the field of education. Technology, which makes its impact felt in every field, also shows itself in music education. Use of technology in education; It covers a wide range of usage areas from online trainings over the internet, smart board applications, Web 2.0 tools, music software and portable applications. This research was carried out to determine the use of technological equipment in music lessons by music teachers. Phenomenology design one of the qualitative research designs, was used in the research. In order to collect the data, a semi-structured interview form consisting of nine items was created and applied to the music teachers. Content analysis method was used in the analysis of the data obtained from the interview form. In the research, it is suggested to provide technological equipment support from the relevant institutions in order to carry out music lessons effectively and efficiently in today's conditions and to create in-service trainings for teachers in this context. It is thought that these trainings will contribute to the professional development of music teachers.
