Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to reveal the opinions of music teachers working in Çankırı about distance music lessons. In the research, the teachers' experiences in this process in the music lesson held with the distance education method were examined and the positive and negative situations encountered were revealed. The research was conducted with the qualitative research method. 23 music teachers in Çankırı participated in the study voluntarily. A semi-structured interview form was applied to the participants on the remote online platform. In the interview form, questions were asked to learn the thoughts of music teachers about distance music education, and the obtained data were analyzed by content analysis method. As a result of the research, music teachers stated that their knowledge about distance music education is weak and that music lessons can only be taught theoretically. The positive effects of distance music education in the family environment also come to the fore among the positive opinions of music teachers. Based on the data obtained as a result of the research, various suggestions were made to these data.
