Özet (EN)

With the developing technology, materials processed at nanoscale are closely related to the development of mechanical properties such as lightness and strength, which are sought in sectors such as aviation, space, automotive and defense. In this direction, the addition of nano-sized fillers to composite materials will be effective in improving their strength and mechanical properties. At the same time, it will provide a lower cost advantage in the commercial sense. In this study; Tensile and three-point bending of the composites produced by adding silicon dioxide (SiO2), graphene, silver (Ag) and cerium oxide (CeO2) nanoparticles separately to the DTE 1200 epoxy resin / DTS 1151 hardener polymeric system using glass and aramid fiber fabrics by hand lay-up method. In accordance with the analysis, the effect of nano-particle reinforcement on mechanical properties was investigated. In conclusion; The strength value was determined according to the nanoparticle materials added to the layered glass and aramid fiber composite materials. The highest contribution of nanoparticle additive to tensile strength occurred in Ag reinforced composites with an increase rate of 16% (298.74 MPa). Similarly, an increase of 4.8% (269.92) was observed in CeO2 reinforced composites. The highest contribution to flexural strength was observed in nano Ag reinforced composites with an increase rate of 67.3% (294.18 MPa). Similar increases occurred in SiO2 at the rate of 65% (290.12).
