Abstract (EN)
Photochromic materials which are the fast developing application of nanotechnology are widely used in many areas because of their aesthetic and also functional properties. These materials can change their colour by the intensity of light. For coating these materials, there are lots of coating techniques like dip coating, spin coating and electrospray coating. In this study, electrospray coating which is very effective for coating homogeneous film at the surface, has been used. Nanofilm photochromic coatings has been obtained by using nanosized SrTiO3 and Fe2O3 powders at the surface of ceramic materials. Film coating properties, the effect of electrospray parameters on the film structure and the photochromic properties of coating has been characterized by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X ray diffractometer (XRD), stereo microskop and spectrophotometer.
