Abstract (EN)
The most fundamental concerns during the synthesis of nanopowder is to prevent the powder from agglomeration. Nanoparticles having high surface area tend to agglomerate very easily. This , thus, emerges as the biggest technological problem. In this study, nanocrystalline ZrO2-SiO2 composite powder was successfully synthesized by using supercritical CO2 method, and agglomeration problem of this powder was under control, and tetragonal zirconia phase was stabilized at a wide range of temperature. In order to synthesize nanocrystal ZrO2-SiO2 composite powder via supercritical CO2 method, the degree of agglomeration was decreased to 5 without any additions to the initial solution. Keywords: Agglomeration, Nanocrystalline, Nanopowder, Silica, SiO2, Supercritical CO2, Zirconia, ZrO2.
