Abstract (EN)
Nowadays, many innovative materials having desired properties have been produced by getting together groups of nano scale particles. This materials produced by using nano structured particles are called as nanocomposites. These particles have been used in many applications because of having many advantages. Nanoparticles have an important potential to improving material properties is due to high respect ratio and nano scale sizes. Particularly, they are commonly used in the polymer matrix; therefore they can be utilized to improving of properties of polymer composites used in the different applications. These composites can be called as polymeric nanocomposites. Nanocomposites are superior materials due to many important properties. Nanocomposites can be used to many applications from packing industry to airplane industry because of being low cost, durability and heavy. The price of the materials used in the construction of the polymeric nanocomposites is getting decrease in the recent years and therefore; different nano scaled materials have produced; besides improved properties and low material costs have been obtained. In this study, production and characterization of nano clay (0.5%, 2% and 4%) and cellulose nano fibrils (0.5%, 2% and 4%) reinforced polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) and polylactic acid (PLA) investigated. The thermal properties of the composites obtained are important and many different particles have been used to improve the thermal stability of polymer composites. Therefore; in this thesis, nano structured hexagonal boron nitride utilized to improve thermal stability of the PHB and PLA composites. Nano boron nitride at different loadings (1%, 5% and 10%) added to the composite having optimum properties. Aysa Instruments twin screw extruder used to mix the blending of polymers and fillers. After doing the analysis of PHB and PLA nanocomposites, the composites having optimum properties determined and to improving of thermal stability of the composites having optimum properties, hexagonal nanoboron nitride added at different loadings to polymer nanocomposites. Thus, polymer nanohybrids composites produced. Density, water absorption, mechanical properties such as flexure strength and modulus, tensile strength and modulus, and izod impact strength, morphological analysis with scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermal properties with differensial scanning calorimeter (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), crystallinity analysis with helping X-ray diffraction spectroscopy, FTIR for determining the interactions between polymer and fillers of the composites obtained to investigated. The aging test on the biocomposites was conducted with accelarating wheathering tester to determining the outdoor performance of the samples.
