Nanotechnology, nanoscience and usage areas in analytic chemistry

In this study, the description of nanotechnology and nanoscience as a popular work area nowadays is made, the results of work area as referred above by making a general research on the roles of the analitical chemistry are discussed.To this end, the applications of nanotechnology in the world and Turkey, the introduction of nano-size materials used in the nanotechnology and nanoscience, the techniques used for characterization of the used nano materials are explored.The projects in which nano size materials are used as absorbent material in the enrichment of trace elements which is a subject worked mostly in analitical chemistry are explained generally and some examples from literature are given.Key Words: Nanotechnology, Nanoscience, Nano Material, Trace Metal, Preconcentration
