Abstract (EN)

In this study, filler materials which have metal cation containing antimicrobial materials are used together with the reactor systems, that has improved with the high efficiency filters and nanotechnological products, for the sterilization of pathogen microorganisms in the air. All the surfaces of the air refining system that entertain a contamination risk were rendered to antimicrobial state and by the way hazardous affects of the present systems on the human health were eliminated. By using a short wavelength C class UV (ultraviolet) light source and a photocatalytic reactor that supported with a TiO2 catalyst, sterilization of the all microorganisms were achieved. Closed atmosphere tests of the equipment were carried out and antimicrobial effectiveness of the all surfaces were proved. As a result of this study, it is verified that this equipment is cleaned the dirty air and decontaminate the microorganisms.
