Abstract (EN)

This study highlights the aims of the current Baharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government regarding India's foreign policy, the initiatives that differ from previous governments and the results of these initiatives. Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the administration has determined India's foreign policy priority reached a win-win situation with the states that are important in protecting India's international and regional interests within the framework of the concept of strategic autonomy in order to ensure that India is recognized as an important power in the region and to realize the multipolar world order, with breakthroughs such as Act East, Neighborhood First policy; to maintain relations based on relationships and to emphasize material power by taking a hard stance against terrorism within the framework of Hindutva ideology while using soft power effectively. Therefore, the study focuses on the impact of the current results of the foreign policy carried out on the near abroad of India and in the context of international relations, through the style and personality of the leadership.
