NATO's cooperation with EU in military and civil fields and the effects of this cooperation on Turkey

The aim of this thesis is to search for the evolution and transition NATO and EU cooperation and make it clear the effect of these changes on Turkish Foreign Policy. NATO have played an important role in Turkish security and defence policy since the beginning of Cold War Era. After the Cold War, the transition of NATO lead to the change of Turkish foreign policy. The cooperation between NATO and EU have also more influence on Turkish foreign policy in this period.The conflicts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Afghanistan was chosen for put forward tangible cooperation between NATO, EU and Turkey. With the examinations of these examples, the cooperation?s effect on Turkish foreign policy could understand definitely.
