The structure and theme in the novels by Nazan Bekiroglu

Nazan Bekiroglu, one of the most preminent writers of turkish literature, began her writing career with Dolunay and has continued with essays and stories published in magazines like "Türk Edebiyatı", "Milli Kültür", "Yedi İklim" and "Dergâh". Nazan Bekiroglu managed to reach a serious readers with her writing, which we can say that they were fed by tradition, publishes her first story book called "Nun Masalları". After this story book, Nazan Bekiroglu's essay book "Mor Mürekkep" is published, and then her first novel "Yûsuf ile Züleyha" which build traditions in a modern style comes out. After "Yûsuf ile Züleyha" she writes four other novels and she has five novels in total now. Nazan Bekiroglu is one of the talented writers who builds a bridge from traditions to the future in our literature history with the work that she writes and our study consist of examining her novels in terms of structure and theme. The writer who generally focuses on human truth in her works treat this truth within the framework of themes which are metaphysical backrounds such as creation, purpose of life, sides which make human being conscientiously cunning and human weakness. There is a significant influence of her works' content the reason of her being one of the followers of the last period as well as her strong language. In this context, we determined our field of the as an examination of the structure the theme of the novels that occupied a significant place in the literature. Our study consists of two part; the first part consists of thr title which gives information about Nazan Bekiroglu's life, literary personality and her works. The second part consists of the title which gives information about the structure and the themes of the novels. After these two chapters, there are 'result' and 'sources' parts.
