The resources of Nazan Bekiroğlu's novels

Nazan Bekiroğlu has been the owner of many works with her academic, writer and reader identity throughout her life. Her works have reached a wide range of audience. The works of Nazan Bekiroğlu, who is seen as a very productive writer in the modern Turkish literature, are very important in terms of literature research due to the richness of the resources used. Studying the resources of a literary work enlightens on the whole life and accumulation of the author of the work. Therefore, the method of resource criticism spreads to a very wide range of area. For this reason in all Nazan Bekiroğlu's works, only her novels were examined. The author's determined resources also aims to answer the question of "Why?" by being interpreted with the fiction of her novels. Divided into six sections, this study determines that Turkish and Western literatures, Turkish and Islamic history, religious texts, history of religions, mythology, different cultures, ancient and contemporary artists and their works, geography, Sufism, different art branches were used as resources. With these determinations, information about the determined resources has been given and it has been attempted to be interpreted with the examples from the novels.
