Özet (EN)
Comparison of Dozimetric Quality Controls of Volumetric Arc Technique Plans in Nazopharense, Prostate, Lung Cancer Treatments Radiotherapy has been driven by constant technological advances since the discovery of X-rays in 1895. Radiotherapy aims to sculpt the optimal isodose on the tumour volume while sparing normal tissues. The efficacy and tolerance of radiotherapy were demonstrated by randomized trials in many different types of cancer (including breast, Prostate and rectum) with a high level of scientific evidence. Such achievements, of major importance for the life of patients, have been fostered during the past decade by linear accelerators with computer-assisted technology. More recently, these developments were augmented by new treatment techniques, One of these developments is the vmat treatment technique Which can achieve highly conformal dose distributions with improved target volume coverage and sparing of conventional tissues compared with conventional radiotherapy techniques and The clinical worldwide use of VMAT is increasing significantly. New treatment techniques brought along with the development of new quality control methods (QA). In this way, new systems developed outside of traditional methods. This study was aimed to evaluate the dose volume histogram (DVHs) between Compass and 3DVH software for 3D patient-specific QA in VMAT technique used for Nasopharynx, prostate and lung cancer treatment. Compass system (IBA Dosimetry, Schwarzenbruck, Germany) and Arccheck with 3DVH software (Sun Nuclear Corp., Melbourne, USA) are commercial quasi-3-dimensional (3D) dosimetry arrays. The DVHs of Compass and Arccheck were evaluated for basic and advanced clinical application. For the advanced clinical application, VMAT treatment plans targeting the heterogen region were investigated. The treatment plans were transferred to Compass and Arccheck for measurement and to generated the DVHs in Compass and Arccheck, respectively. The DVHs were compared with calculations from the Eclipse treatment planning system (TPS) according to dose specified for OARs. Compass and Arccheck showed comparable dose outcomes between TPS a in OARs and the findings were evaluated. Key Words: Compass, ArcCheck, TPS, Prostate, Lung, Nazopharense, VMAT, 3DVH
