Evaluation of energy relations between Turkey and Russia within the framework of neo-Eurasian ideology

In this study; ıt is aimed to analyze the effect of the Eurasian ideology that emerged after the crisis periods of Russia on the energy relations between the Republic of Turkey and the Russian Federation (RF). The subjects in the study were evaluated on a periodic basis, the political and strategic aspects of energy relations were discussed and their situation within the framework of Eurasianism ideology was tried to be included. In this framework, after mentioning the pipeline projects between the two countries within the framework of the Eurasianism ideology, the reflection of these projects on the relations between the two countries were analyzed. The theoretical dimension of Eurasian thought was largely put forward within the framework of the ideas put forward by Alexander Dugin, who is the most important representative of the ideology in question today. In this context, it can be said that the main agenda of the relations between the Republic of Turkey and RF, two important countries of the Eurasian geography, is energy. Energy relations between the two countries have been analyzed based on a strategic and political point of view. At this point, nuclear energy issues which are a new area of cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy, as well as the pipelines that exist today, evaluated within the framework of the ideology Eurasian. In particular, ıt is thought that basic the subject within the framework of Eurasianism ideology will contribute to the field by offering a different perspective on the subject.
