Nepotism effect on innovation and talent management

Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this thesis, nepotism perception of employees in en-terprises by determining the reletionship on the innovation and talent management is to introduce the effects of the perception of nepotism on innovation and talent management. In this context, a study in the literature was carried out in two manifacturing enterprises on a total of 385 managers and employees. Overall, nepotism is relative favoritism of the employer. In this research nepotism was discussed in five points. The first one is the role of family members, the second one is the role of non-family members, the third one is equality, the forth one is relative favoritism and the last one is professionalism. The management of innovation as a tool for improving of the quality of life is to gain a new demension for a product or a service. The talent management is a tool to move the business successfully into the future. The innovation management and talent management were examined in separate points. As a result of this study, it has been seen that family member favoritism affects on the other non-family members employees negatively and innovation management and talent management also affect negatively from family favoritism.
