The examination of dreams of Nermin Yıldırım's novels psychoanalytically

Nermin Yıldırım, who started her literary career with the novel Unutma Beni Apartmanı published in 2011, continued her literary career by writing six novels and a storybook. The characters she wrote in her works search for themselves within themselves while also examining the reasons that push them to this search. They are all people who have somehow withdrawn into themselves, cut off their ties with the outside world and have chosen solitude as much as possible. Their introverted and independent state from the outside world is based on their childhood and family life. This childhood and family life also finds a place in the dreams within the work. In the novels, the characters reveal their inner worlds and pasts to the reader in more depth through the dreams they see.The aim of the thesis examining Nermin Yıldırım's novels Unutma Beni Apartmanı, Rüyalar Anlatılmaz, Saklı Bahçeler Haritası, Unutma Dersleri, Dokunmadan, Misafir and Ev is to reach the formations in the unconscious of the hero through a psychoanalytical examination of the dreams given in the work, and to examine the psychological state of the hero and the effects of the dreams on the work.This thesis titled The Examination Of Dream in Nermin Yıldırım's Novels Psychoanalytically consists of three parts. In the first part of the thesis, under the title of "Freud, Jung, Adler and Dream", Sigmund Freud, Carl Gustav Jung and Alfred Adler's comments on dreams are given, under the title of "Dreams and Daydreams in Nermin Yıldırım's Novels", a psychoanalytical analysis of dreams and daydreams in the work is given, and under the title of "Relationship between Dreams and Narrative", the relationship between dreams and the work is given.
