The place of the object in art and its relationship with the subject

What is the object? What is the meaning of objects in art? What do objects mean in works of art? Etc., occupy an important place in terms of understanding what the objects in the lives of the artists are. The most comprehensive definition of the object, we call the object everything that does the work of people, means what they want to do, holds a place in consciousness with its meanings and can be handled more. These objects shaped until today have an important place in the field of art. In this thesis, the objects seen in the works of the artists from the Renaissance to the present were evaluated and their meanings were determined, and it was tried to explain how they expressed both their personal problems and social problems using objects. These objects, enthroned in the thoughts of the artists, have become symbols. They attribute a meaning to each different object by showing people's behavior, emotions, life conditions, the destructive traces of war, the themes of freedom, victory and hope in their works. I display these works to be examined within the scope of the thesis in my own works as a source of inspiration. In this thesis, I express both individual and social problems by addressing the relationship of the figure with objects and its symbolic meaning. The same object can mean very different things by those people with different mental development. In line with these meanings, I tried to express the relationship of the figure with the objects with a utopian perspective in this thesis. These stories, which are related to real life, come to life with the present meaning of the objects and I create a fiction.
