Abstract (EN)

This study, it's aimed to create a concordance and functional glossary of Nev'î-zâde Atâyî's khamsa. The linguistic forms in the five masnavis that constitute the khamsa have been determined with their contexts, instances, and frequencies. The vocabulary of khamsa consists of 15107 headwords. This study consists of two parts. In the first part the stereotyped linguistic units, deviations and proper nouns in the vocabulary of khamsa have been determined. And the second part is included the concordance and functional dictionary. In the concordance part, which is the basis of the study, the headwords have been organized and sorted in alphabetical order, the instances have been listed under the headwords and their frequency of use in khamsa has been specified numerically. In the functional dictionary part, the meanings of the headwords have been determined according to the context. This method of analysis, which had been applied to individual works such as divans and masnavis, has been applied to a khamsa for the first time covering five different works of an author. It's hoped that the study will contribute to further studies on Ottoman poetry, 17th century Turkish literature, and Nev'î-zâde Atâyî, as well as historical dictionary studies. Key Words: Concordance, Functional Dictionary, Nev'î-zâde Atâyî, Khamsa
