Abstract (EN)

Experimental implementations of this research were carried out in the application and research field of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies between 2020-2021. In the study, the effect of Lavender (Lavandula officinalis) on plant growth was investigated by applying two different natural fertilizers and fertilizer-free (control) at different irrigation levels in the ecological conditions of Niğde province. In the first implementation, bovine manure obtained under normal farm conditions was used as fertilizer. The second fertilizer experiment was carried out with dairy cattle manure enriched with microelements (cattle manure obtained from Sütaş dairy cattle farm). In the last stage of the experimental implementations, fertilizer-free application was made as a control trial. In the irrigation-related part of the experiment, random blocks were applied in three replications at four different irrigation levels (100% irrigation, 66% irrigation, 33% irrigation, 0% irrigation). According to the results of the research, it was determined that the use of natural fertilizers and different irrigation amounts for the Niğde province had an effect on the development of Lavender. According to the findings obtained as a result of the experiment, it has been determined that the use of normal cattle fertilizer is more effective if parameters such as stem diameter, number of main branches and plant diameter are important in lavender cultivation. On the other hand, if parameters such as stem length, number of branches (flowers), and plant height are important, it has been determined that the use of fertilizer enriched with microelements (Sütaş fertilizer) is more appropriate in lavender cultivation. According to the evaluations made in terms of irrigation levels, since S1, S2 and S3 are statistically in the same group in many parameters, S3 (33%), that is, the limited irrigation level, was recommended considering the irrigation savings.
