Nodal and extranodal high-grade B-cell lymphomas expression of i̇mmune checkpoint i̇nhibitors and survival analysis

Abstract (EN)

Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and FL are the most common non-Hodgkin lymphomas, respectively. Treatment with rituximab of DLBCL, FL and BL,, improvement was achieved. However, some of the cases progress with resistant disease or recurrences. Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) expressions are investigated in these cases, which shows promising findings in the pathogenesis and treatment of the disease. In our study, a total of 260 cases, consisting of DLBCL, FL grade 3 (G3), and BL cases diagnosed in our department between 2015-2020, were selected. In these cases, PD-1, PD-L1, CTLA-4, LAG-3, TIM-3, FOXP3, and VISTA, which were been the most investigated ICI in recent years, were studied immunohistochemically. These markers of expression in tumor cells and microenvironment differences between groups were analyzed. In DLBCL, NOS non-GMB phenotype, tPD-L1, tLAG-3, mFOXP3, and mPD-1 mean percentage, and the positive patient ratio was significantly higher than GMB phenotype. In DLBCL, the mean percentage and the rate of patients tPD-L1, tLAG-3, mCTLA-4, mLAG-3, mTIM-3 were significantly higher than BL. In DLBCL, the mean percentage and the rate of positive patients of tPD-L1 were significantly higher than FL G3. In DLBCL, the mean percentage of and the rate of positive patients mPDL1, mPD-1, mCTLA-4, mLAG-3, mFOXP3 were significantly higher than FL G3. In Cox regression analysis, the significant effect of age, mCTLA4, tLAG-3 and mLAG-3, tTIM-3, and mFOXP3 expression on survival time were discovered 131 in the univariate model. In the multivariate model, a significant effect of age and tLAG-3 expression on survival was observed.
