Abstract (EN)

One of the primary reference components in international relations is the concept of security, which is an essential aspect of even our daily lives. Because of the changes it has encountered over time, security which has a very archaic historical foundation should be difficult to understand and considered with a deep perspective. The connection of the concept of security with Europe, the most institutionalized continent on the planet is a topic worth debating. Migration and terrorist issues have been separated from other challenges and given higher attention in the post-Cold War era. The change in the EU's attitude on migration and terrorism over time has been investigated in this study using the securitization theory of the Copeanhagen School. The policy documents, institutionalization and public opinion surveys on the migration and terrorist issues which are addressed in terms of actor, threat, speech act, audince and action have all been included in the study and conclusion has been made. As a result of reviewing the process from the Schengen Agreement to the present day, it has been concluded that both immigration and terrorism issues exhibit parallelism.
