Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to develop a mobile device compatible therapy application called FON-SEM that can be used by Turkish-speaking individuals with neurogenic acquired language disorder, and to check the usability of this application with the primary caregivers of individuals with aphasia and speech and language therapists. In this context, 19 speech and language therapists and the primary caregivers of 18 individuals with aphasia were included in the study. The FON-SEM mobile therapy application, developed within the framework of the impairment-based approach within the scope of the study, consists of a total of 300 tasks based on auditory comprehension, including semantic and phonological sections. The usability of the developed application was checked by the participants by filling in the Mobile Application Usability Scale, Continued Intention to Use Scale and Brand Loyalty Scale. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the FON-SEM mobile therapy application was highly usable in both groups; However, there was no statistically significant difference in usability score between the two groups. However, in both groups, it was observed that with the increase in the scores on the variables that constitute the subgroup of the Mobile Application Usability Scale, there was an increase in the users' intention to continue using.
