Abstract (EN)

Nurettin Özdemir is a parliamentary poet who lived between 1927-2016. He, whose poems have been published since 1940, has 5 books: Hayat Şiiri (1949), Yağmur Sonrası (1955), Yitik Sevgi (1959), Vakit Geçti Yorgunum (1981), and Zaman ve Aşk (1997) In addition to his poems with a concern of wording, he also has writings about social issues. Many of his writings and poems have been published on national and international papers and magazines. In addtition to the traditional writing, modern Turkish and global poetry's reflections can be seen in his work. It is possible to state that significant literary individuals who influenced his work are Yahya Kemal Beyatlı and Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar from the Turkish literature, and Maria Rilke from the western literature. In this study, which mainly focused on Ozdemir's life and his art, we tried to examine the components of his art. We also tried to gather data regarding his life from primary sources. We tried to analyze the information about his life with a focus that affected his poetry. In addition, we analyzed his poems with a focus on structure and its components. In our study, we created a bibliography of the writings about Nurettin Özdemir in additon to his own poems and writings.
