Abstract (EN)
The study aims to investigate the effect of obesity to narcissistic investments of five adolescents and contribute to psychic studies with obese adolescents by focusing on their psychic organisation. Following clinical interviews, Rorschach and Thematically Apperception Test (TAT) were applied to 5 obese adolescents between 12-18 ages. Rorschach findings were compared and evaluated according to "Rorschach Turkish Adolescent Norms". Overall findings of Rorschach Test and TAT were assessed by the content analysis of the French Psychoanalysis School. Data collected from interviews and projective tests show problematics regarding early childhood object relations, the developmental process of adolescence, depressive state that is not worked through, and the quality of the narcissistic foundations.
