Evaluation together with environmental conditions Obruk dam lake the bacteriological characteristics

Water quality has an important role in human, animal and plant health. It is one of the leading causes of transmission of gastrointestinal diseases. Fort this reason, water intended for human consumption must be free of microorganisms and chemicals that can cause disease. The water quality study covers the stages of identifying the chemical, physical and biological properties of the water body and identifying potential sources of pollution that will adversely affect the quality of the water. In our study, the water quality of Obruk dam water was evaluated microbiologically and physicochemically with environmental conditions. This thesis study is the first scientific research about Obruk Dam. Within the scope of our study, surface and deep water samples were researched from 11 stations determined from Obruk dam water in October 2017 and February 2018. Fecal bacteria factors and some physicochemical parameters were examined in water samples. According to the data we obtained, deviations from normal limits were detected in microbial contamination and physicochemical parameters, especially in some locations of the dam water. As a result, the pothole dam has an important location. Considering the usage areas of dam waters, water quality should be examined at certain periods and sources of pollution should be determined carefully and necessary measures should be taken to eliminate the factors causing pollution in terms of public health.
