Abstract (EN)
The OSAS (Obstruktive Sleep Apnea Syndrome) an important public problem in world and in our country is not only a basic sleep problem but also a serious systemic disease which effect the other physiological systems. The diagnosis and treatment of OSAS need cooperation with the departments of ENT, Thoracic medicine, norology, cardiology, internal medicine and sleep physiologists. İn our study we researched the effects of hypoxia and hypercapny attacks on auditive and equilibrium sytems with psychosomatic and acustic tests.This study was done at Inonu University Odiology laboratory with the permition of Inonu University Human Researches Ethical Committee. The 95 cases were included in study. The 71 of that cases were in OSAS disease group and 24 case were in control group. The whole people included in study were examined about ENT. The cases without audiovestibuler and ear pathology were included in study. The whole cases in study were tested in audiology laboratory with tympanometry, pure voice tympanometry, high frequency tympanometry, autoacustic emition tests.The results with audiometry test in patients with heavy OSAS were significantly different from both the patients who had mild OSAS and the control group. In Patients with heavy OSAS Beck Depression Scores were significantly different than both the patients with mild OSAS and control group. There were not a significantly difference in Other parameters.As a result İn Patients with heavy OSAS had hearing loss in high frequencies.Key words; OSAS, Audiological exemination, Vestibuler system, Psycosomatic survey
