Abstract (EN)
This study aims to assess the fiscal sustainability of OECD countries. Especially focusing on fiscal indicators such as public debt, public revenue, public expenditures and budget balance, the study analyzes the effects of these variables on fiscal sustainability and their relationships with each other through spatial econometric models. The findings of the research reveal the complex nature of the relationships between these indicators and economic performance, emphasizing the importance of coordinating fiscal policies among OECD countries. The study aims to inform policymakers' decision-making processes on fiscal sustainability and encourage the development of more resilient policies against fiscal crises. The results demonstrate that accelerating fiscal discipline and structural reforms are essential for long-term economic stability and sustainable growth.
