Investigation of academic studies on learning styles: Systematic review

Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to examine and evaluate the academic studies published between 2000-2016. The sample group of this study, which is made by systematic review method, is publishing the articles published in the master's and doctoral theses published in Turkey and in the feminist magazines originating in Turkey. During the study period, 290 master's and doctoral dissertations had reached 157 articles and those with inaccessible ones were eliminated and 341 studies were completed. As a data analysis method, content analysis method was preferred and data were examined in depth. The findings of the analysis are as follows; The types of publications that have been intensively studied about learning style have been graduate theses. The predominantly preferred language is Turkish. Worked on the most intense learning styles in 2011. Gazi University has published more stories about learning styles than other universities. Working in intensive undergraduate students it was chosen as the sample group and is "301-1000" sample size is used. Studies were conducted in intensive research methods such quantitative descriptive research has been the most common method preferred research. Among the research designs, the survey was the research design that researchers preferred extensively. Learning style used in the study as being most dependent or independent variables and their effect on each other with the other variables were examined. Along with the "learning style" variable, the most used variable has been the "academic achievement" variant. The most strongly interacting variable with the "learning style" variable is the "attitude" variable. Kolb learning style inventory usually belong in the studies reviewed has been the preferred learning style inventory.
