Öğretmen adaylarında istatistik öğretiminde istatistiksel kaygı ve öz-yeterlilik arasındaki ilişki

This study investigates the relationship between statistical anxiety and self-efficacy in teaching statistics among pre service mathematics teacher at a leading public university in Türkiye. Using a mixed-methods design with the SAS and SETS scales as well as semi-structured interviews, the findings revealed a strong negative correlation between the two variables. The results highlight the need for teacher education programs to adopt strategies that reduce anxiety and enhance self-efficacy in teaching statistics.
