Examining the relationship between school image and organizational happiness according to teachers' perceptions

In today's world, where we are about to complete the first quarter of the 21st century, we can say that the rapid spread of information, the rapid development of science and technology and sudden changes affect the life of the society we live in and the relations between people in many ways. Depending on the developments and transformations related to this issue, it has become possible to examine institutions and organizations doing the same job more closely with rapid access to information. Organizational image, which comes into play at this point, is concerned with how institutions and organizations appear, and it has become a concept that more and more important in recent years. Organizational happiness is expressed as a mental structure that maximizes a person's success and motivates him to realize his/her hidden power. Together with the popularity of the school image in recent years, the necessity of examining the relationship between happiness, which is one of the emotions that people want to have the most from the beginning of human history, and the image of school, has gained great importance. From this point of view, teachers' perceptions of school image and organizational happiness appear as a subject that needs to be investigated. This research, which examines the relationship between school image and organizational happiness according to teacher perceptions, was conducted in the province of Sinop and was applied to 306 teachers working in 32 schools at every level in the city center and its districts. With this research, it is seen that there is no significant difference between school image and organizational happiness and age, educational status, professional seniority, type of school, tenure at the school and branch variables according to teacher perceptions. Gender and marital status are two variables that show a significant difference. In addition, it has been determined that there is a positive and significant relationship between school image and organizational happiness according to teacher perceptions, and that the dimensions of school image perceived by the teacher are a significant predictor of their perceived organizational happiness levels.
