It ensures an orderly functioning in many social, managerial and organizational areas by shaping the behavior of individuals. Developments with internet technology have brought digitalization with them. Developments in communication with internet technology have brought about digitalization. Web 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 tools that emerged with digitalization have transformed communication into a two-way process. In the digitalizing world, education has also had its share of this situation. In addition to students benefiting from educational activities and gaining desired behavior, it is also important to strengthen communication between the school and families. Digital communication tools not only facilitate interpersonal and social communication, but also facilitate communication between schools, teachers and parents. Thus, it ensures that schools and parents communicate and cooperate for the development of students. WhatsApp application is also a digital tool that allows communication between teachers and parents. The study aimed to determine the usage status, opportunities and obstacles of the WhatsApp application, which is used as an instant messaging tool between teachers and parents. For this purpose, an analysis was made about the WhatsApp usage experiences of teachers and parents. The data obtained was coded and analyzed, thus trying to explain the opinions of teachers and parents regarding the use of WhatsApp application.
