Regarding teachers' environmental ethics determining the sensitivity

The aim of this study is to measure the sensitivity of teachers in the face of environmental problems, in the protection of the environment and in maintaining this protection, and to determine whether they have awareness on this issue. In order to carry out this examination, environmental ethics discipline and environmental ethics approaches that reveal environmental problems with their underlying causes and try to solve them will be used. It is of great importance that teachers have sensitivity and awareness towards environmental ethics. Giving the importance of environmental ethics to students by teachers with ethical sensitivity will play an important role in realizing the ethical gains of the curriculum. Today, the increase in environmental problems and the occurrence of climatic problems have made the issue even more important. In the study, qualitative scanning method was used. The sample of the study consists of 20 teachers who are interested in the environment. In the study, answers were sought to the questions of teachers about environmental problems and what can be done to create environmental ethics. According to the research, it has been concluded that in the formation of a culture of environmental ethics in people, it is necessary for teachers to be aware and sensitive first of all, and to establish the culture of environmental ethics in individuals, act in a socially holistic way, religious and social theories that make people's lives meaningful and play an active role in their responsibilities. In the context of environmental ethics, it was concluded that it should be transferred to the society.
