Abstract (EN)

In "Information Era" which is the name of modern days, information is absolutely the most important production factor. This condition has slightly improved the importance of human, who produces and uses the information, for today's organizations. One of the most important aim of today's organizations is to present a better working conditions to employees and to make them to have better perceptions and attitudes about their organizations. Correspondingly, organizationa justice and bornout become important among the organizational behavior literature. While organizational justice briefly expresses the perceptions of justice in an organization; burnout is a syndrome of feeling emotionally exhausted, depersonalization and reduced feelings of personal accomplishment that generally occurs among the individuals who do "people work". This study that is performed among İstanbul Kağıthane Secondary School teachers to to examine the relation between organizational justice and burnout. The sample of the study consists of 292 teachers who works in İstanbul, Kağıthane. Demographic information, Organizational Justice Questionnaire and Maslach Burnout Inventory is used to get datas from the sample. Collected datas are tested by using Frequency distribution, Spearman correlation analysis, Mann- Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis analysis with the assistance of SPSS 22 program. Survey results exposed a significant relation between organizational justice perception and burnout. Besides, tehe survey exposed that teachers' burnout levels vary according to age and educational background while teachers' burnout levels vary according to gender, service time and educational background.
