According to the results of the surveys conducted, it can be stated that the level of meaningless ness increased as the duty period of the teachers working in the city increased, but there was no significant relationship between the duration of the profession and the level of meaningless ness for the teachers working in the provinces. The relationship between the level of alienation to the job and the duration of the occupation in the profession was found meaningful for the teachers working in the city and no significant relationship was found for the teachers working in the provinces.
