Abstract (EN)
The type that cannot hold on in the society emerges as a result of the developments and changes experienced. Community-based changes; occur together with social, political and economic factors. Therefore, in society, different types can be seen as a result of these changes. For example, one of the types transferred to literary products is the one that cannot hold. Some factors such as the increase in grouping in the society, the effect of economic differences, and fundamental changes in social life appear as the type that cannot hold on in the novels. The most important indicator of the incontinent type is the problem of marginalization. This is seen in ideological conflicts and problems of eccentricity in society when examining literary products and, in particular, novels. The type that cannot hold on, which causes many problems, makes radical changes in the life of the individual. This situation is also seen in the novels that deal with the processes of the events described at that time. Therefore, in this research, the 19th century was examined for Dostoevsky's novels, and the developments in the 1980s for Atay were evaluated. In the study, in which especially the type of unable to hold on is examined, some issues such as individual loneliness, suicide, conflicts are experienced in line with the characteristics and effects of the period. In this research, the development of the 'unable to hold' type in the novels of Oğuz Atay and Dostoevsky has been examined. In particular, the characters in the prominent novels of the authors and the events that took place were compared. Thus, the unknown of the future, the problem of identity, the problem of intellectual people with society, poor and sick people, the model of people excluded from society, economic problems, ordinary and lonely people were examined in the research. In addition, jealousy and hate speech, conscience and compassion, the type of religion that cannot hold and the problem of not being understood were also evaluated in the research. These subjects, which are examined in Atay and Dostoyevsky novels, show that the type that cannot hold is widely used in literary works. In the comparative evaluation, especially the problem of Turkish intellectuals in Atay's novels has been examined and the results of social and economic changes have been processed. In Dostoevsky's novels, the general characteristics of the characters were evaluated. Thus, the prominent type in the novels; It has occurred due to factors such as marginalization, alienation, and eccentricity. Thus, the sources of conflict experienced by the individual with the society can be interpreted as an indicator of the type who cannot hold on.
