Özet (EN)

This study aimed to examine the relationships among school administrators' levels of burnout, mindfulness, cyberloafing, and phubbing behaviors. The predictive power of the variables burnout, mindfulness, and cyberloafing on phubbing was also analyzed. The research was conducted during the 2024–2025 academic year with a sample of 223 school administrators working in the Tarsus district of Mersin, Türkiye. Data were collected using the Short Form of the Burnout Scale, the Mindful Attention Awareness Scale, the Cyberloafing Scale, and the General Phubbing Scale. Data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0. Descriptive statistics, independent samples t-tests, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchical regression analyses were conducted. The findings revealed a significant positive relationship between burnout and phubbing, while mindfulness showed significant negative correlations with burnout, cyberloafing and phubbing. Additionally, burnout, cyberloafing, and mindfulness together were found to significantly predict phubbing. Based on these findings, it was concluded that school administrators' levels of burnout, mindfulness, and cyberloafing significantly predicted phubbing behaviors, and strong relationships were identified among these variables.
