Applicability of Montessori approach in preschool religion and values ​​education and parent opinions (Çorum example)

This research deals with the theoretical framework of Montessori approach in pre-school religion and values education and the adaptation of Montessori materials to pre-school religion and values education, starting from the problem of applicability of Montessori education approach in pre-school religion and values education. Our study was carried out in the province of Çorum, Hz. Ibrahim Mosque 4-6 Age Quran Course Religion and Values Education Montessori Class The aim of this study is to determine how effective it is in religion and values education in 'an courses and the applicability of the Montessori model in religion and values education in 4-6 year old Qur'an Courses. The study group of our research is Çorum province Hz. Ibrahim Mosque consists of the parents of the students studying in the 4-6 Years Quran Course, Religion and Values Education Montessori Class. The research was conducted using the interview method with the parents of 35 students who were educated in the Montessori class consisting of 90 students studying in the 2021-2022 academic year. Each participant was given codes such as K1 (Female Participant One), K2 (Female Participant Two)… (E1 (Male Participant One) E2 (Male Participant Two)…) With this technique, systematic information was collected for the targeted purpose and at the same time, it was ensured that the information requested by the interviewer was collected completely with additional questions when needed.
